With a pioneering spirit in the fields we serve, MediGroup Vietnam Co., Ltd. was honored to collaborate with University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City in organizing a scientific symposium entitled “Coagulation and HbA1c assays: Do the numbers accurately reflect the clinical situation?”, held on December 6, 2025.

The symposium left a strong impression through in-depth presentations delivered by leading experts in Hematology, Laboratory Medicine, and Endocrinology.

The scientific program focused on clarifying the pivotal role of laboratory result accuracy in optimizing clinical decision-making, toward precise and personalized diagnosis and treatment for each patient, with key highlights including:

• In-depth analysis of the accuracy and reliability of coagulation tests, platelet function testing, and HbA1c in clinical practice.

• Identification of factors that may interfere with test results, and discussion on the level of reliability required for clinicians to confidently base treatment decisions on laboratory reports.

• Introduction of advanced technological solutions from MediGroup, including:

  • Capillary electrophoresis technology from Sebia

The symposium attracted nearly 500 physicians, pharmacists, and laboratory professionals nationwide, delivered in a hybrid format combining on-site participation and live online attendance via Zoom.
